Appointment of Aurore Gaspar Colson as Deputy Head of Societe Generale French Retail banking
Societe Generale announces the appointment of Aurore Gaspar Colson as Deputy Head of French Retail Banking, led by Marie-Christine Ducholet. In her new position she will join the Group Management Committee.
Aurore Gaspar Colson is appointed as Deputy Head of Societe Generale French Retail Banking, effective as of 3 January, 2022. In this role, she will supervise the Digital, Data, Client Relation Services, Operations and Transformation, and Payment departments.

Aurore will be able to draw on her experience of more than 15 years within Societe Generale group, where she has developed a thorough knowledge of retail banking activities for individual and corporate clients, as well as solid skills in digital technology and in the management of development and transformation projects as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Boursorama since 2017” said Sebastien Proto, Deputy General Manager in charge of the Societe Generale, Crédit du Nord, Private Banking networks and their Innovation, Technology and IT division.
Biography
Aurore Gaspar Colson started her career at Societe Generale group in 2002 within the General Inspection department, where she was an Inspector and then a Senior Inspector. In 2012, she became Deputy Head of the Payment and Cash Management division. In 2013, she was appointed Chief of Staff for the Group’s General Management.
From 2016, she served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the American subsidiary of Societe Generale Equipment Finance, until her appointment at the end of 2017 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Boursorama.
