Apart from these three main associations, Societe Generale also supports other associations in other African countries involved in professional or educational integration activities and projects enabling integration through sports and cultural activities. These activities form part of our bank's social mission for the development of Africa.

Morocco

Kane Ya Makane

The Kane Ya Makane association believes that art and culture can play a significant role in helping to improve the welfare, education, and social and economic conditions of underprivileged populations. It works particularly with children, young people and women living in poor conditions in Morocco. It has three projects in operation: - Tanouir +, which works to keep children from dropping out of public schools; - Tanouiri Wa Mostakbali, a sociocultural programme providing assistance to school children in rural areas; - Talents de femmes, which helps to empower women socio-economically by creating activities through which they can generate an income.
