SG: a new French retail banking model

Over recent months, in line with the announced schedule, the Group has met key milestones in the planned merger of two French retail banking networks.

Following the legal merger in January, the teams recently successfully completed the migration of the Crédit du Nord group’s banks to the SG IT System.

2 years of concerted efforts to lay the foundations of the new SG bank, more reactive, expert, responsible and with a local presence, to serve our 10 million clients.

The IT merger, a human and technological feat: 30 months of work and 4 million hours, 1,200 workshops, 2 IT migrations, 50,000 operations realised in 48 hours.

Clearly, this migration operation was a success. A changeover achieved in under 48 hours. Exceptional data migration quality. All services open for business on Monday morning.
