Boursorama is B Corp certified

Boursorama has joined the B Corp community, a global movement of engaged companies combining commercial gain and social and environmental performance. This certification ensures that Boursorama meets the B Lab® independent body’s stringent standards in terms of social and environmental impact, transparency and responsibility, and commits the Company to continuing its CSR approach.

Intent on simplifying banking, giving its customers more spending power and enabling them to control their money, Boursorama’s ambition is also to actively and responsibly participate in its customers’ ecological transition as well as undertaking its own such transition.

Keen to measure the impact of its actions targeting the best interests of all its stakeholders, Boursorama completed the impact assessment questionnaire provided by B Lab®, B CorpTM’s independent certification body. After answering more than 200 questions and following several months of audit, Boursorama has thus been granted B CorpTM certification with a score of 90.9 points (minimum of 80 points required in five key areas of commitment: Customers, Workers, Environment, Community, Governance).

By joining the B CorpTM community, Boursorama has committed to a continuous improvement approach to retain its certification when it comes up for renewal in 3 years’ time. In order to do this, the Company – aware of how far there still is to go – will notably intensify its actions with regard to sustainable finance, a key issue for Boursorama, which is aiming to be one of this sector’s most engaged players in terms of social and environmental impact.

It is with much pride and responsibility that Boursorama has joined the B Corp Community. This certification is a real catalyst for Boursorama’s members of staff, all of whom are already committed and determined to further improve practices within their professions in order to reduce the Bank’s environmental impact and optimise its social impact. This certification also demonstrates, to our 4.7 million customers, the sincerity and probity of the actions we implement and will continue to improve in coming years to provide them with an inclusive and sustainable offer.
