Societe Generale appoints Antoine Creux as Chief Security Officer

Societe Generale announces the appointment of Antoine Creux as Chief Security Officer, reporting to the Corporate Secretary's Office and becoming a Member of the Group Management Committee. This appointment is effective as at October 1st.

In a time of increasing challenges in terms of safety for assets, individuals and information systems, his mission will be to ensure that Societe Generale continues to adopt the most appropriate strategic and operational answers to protect the Group’s assets. He will work in close relationship with the public authorities, and with all the public institutions, relying on the resources put in place by the Group in terms of security and safety.

A General in the French Airforce, Antoine Creux had previously spent his entire career, beginning in 1979, with the French Defence Ministry, where he was appointed Head of Protection and Security in 2010. Almost 3 years later, he became deputy chief of the French Airforce, notably in charge of conducting a large-scale transformation plan. He became Chief Inspector of the Armed Services in 2015.
